Aad van den Berg was born in The Hague Sept. 1970, Netherlands. And studied industrial mechanization in Haarlem. In addition to my work as an engineer, my hobby was diving and underwater photography, which I have also actively done for several years. After which I had a moment where I had the idea to also take photos above water and at a certain point this became so much fun that I thought it was not professional. That's how I started in 2005, but other things also came my way, which ultimately made me decide to stop my professional photography and continue it purely as a hobby. But what many people probably also experience is that things then fade into the background and eventually they stop doing something. In 2022, after a long time, I was diagnosed with long Covid, which prompted me to take up other matters and also look for other hobbies because due to physical disabilities, some things no longer work as they used to. This has made me decide to take up photography as a hobby again, in addition to my work and mountain biking. I sold my old materials and bought a new system camera with which I hope to rediscover my passion for photography. In addition, I always took photos with my cell phone and DJI Drone. These photos will also be visible on the site.
